EKKO launches new line of Women’s Clothing
On Friday 31 July 2020, Premier clothing brand EKKO launched its new line of Women’s clothing for the first time at their Flagship Store at One Galle Face Mall. After many years of focusing on Men’s apparel, EKKO will be venturing into Women’s clothing to cater to a new customer base, (including the female partners and friends of its existing customers) and address the needs of fashion-conscious consumers. EKKO Women’s clothing will also be available at Cotton Collection Colombo 7 and at select ODEL stores in the near future and can be ordered online at www.ekko.style
EKKO will focus on producing everyday essentials to a woman’s wardrobe and as part of the initial collection have created beautifully-crafted Linen, Linen-Blends and Cotton styles, designed for women who appreciate and love the finest quality & comfort. Styles will range from casual to formal including items such as tops, bottoms (skirts & shorts), pants, jumpsuits, dresses, rompers and more!
With plenty of involvement in the fashion industry and incorporating their own personal style and taste into the designs, founders, Lalantha and Erosha Watudura have a fantastic vision for their clothing line. With the new collection hitting physical stores, they are setting up for even bigger ventures in the years ahead. They plan to take the brand overseas by setting up physical stores globally and reach a wider audience.
EKKO has also been busy creating a powerful vision that ties closely into using high-quality sustainable materials in Linen and Cotton and producing garments that are Made in Sri Lanka. EKKO is empowering Sri Lankan designers by recruiting and collaborating with them to get a great mix of skills and artistry.
